At Amber Modern, we deliver exceptional staging and interior design services in Flagstaff, AZ while actively reducing the waste that ends up in landfills and oceans.
We founded this company on a commitment to environmental responsibility and a belief that a growing business can be a force for good. As we expand, our goal is to donate 5% of all profits to environmental sustainability organizations.
Most staging waste is from single use plastic. By reusing our wrapping materials instead of throwing them away, Amber Modern keeps an estimated 100+ bags of packaging waste out of the Coconino landfills every year.
We also source second-hand inventory from other Arizona staging companies, cutting down on both packaging waste and the emissions that come with long distance shipping.
Through reusing our packing materials, sourcing second-hand inventory close to home, and minimizing single use plastic, we are able to curate stunning furnished homes that feel luxurious, without the waste that typically comes from staging services.
Meet Our Founders
About Shannon and Hunter
We are a family owned and operated company local to Flagstaff Arizona.
We launched Amber-Modern in January 2024 to offer Northern Arizona a environmentally driven home staging company.
Shannon: My passion for interior design began when I was a child, and I took the leap to create this company with the vision of transforming the home staging experience.
I developed Amber-Modern with the aim of being one of Arizona's first environmentally friendly staging companies.
I have been passionate about reversing and preventing environmental damages for many years, and am particularly concerned with waste which ends up in our landfills and oceans.
I received my bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering in May of 2024, and I plan to expand Amber-Modern in order to eventually develop an engineering company that solely tackles environmental issues.
